hinventory.com is a Web site that enables users to easily create a secure home inventory online. You simply upload photos of rooms in your house and then tag items in your photos. The photo creates a record of everything in the room and tagging enables you to highlight significant or expensive items in each room. Once you tag an item, you add important details such as:
- The current value of the item
- How you obtained the item. Was is a gift? Did you buy it?
- The original value of the item
- A photo of the receipt validating ownership and value
